    Click the 'Gear icon' to access HubSpot settings

    [Inbox Automation](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/connected-inbox-automation) is where HubSpot will attempt to process email bodies and signatures to update properties such as name, email, phone number, address.

    Click "Connect your inbox"
    Click Connect your inbox

    Type your business email address

    Do not connect generic email addresses like "hello@, info@, sales@, support@, etc.

    Click "Connect to..." if HubSpot correctly identified your email service. Otherwise click "I want to choose my email provider myself"
