If your page is an admin. for the group, you can connect your group to your school page. This allows you to easily find related groups directly from the school page. If you have ever had to search for a group and find several with similar names, this is an easy way for people to find the related groups without looking up each group with the same name, etc. It also works in reverse in that if you are in the group, you can easily click back to the school page.
