    3

    4
Navigate to the assignment, page, or discussion where you want to use your template.
    5
Edit the page and load your DesignPlus sidebar. Click "Template Content"
    6
In the dropdown labeled "this course" you should see the your list of course templates. Select the template you want to use, and it will import into the page.
    7
Edit your page as necessary and save.

    Course Level Content Blocks

    8
Open a new blank page in Canvas. Title it **\[Content Blocks\].** You need to include the square brackets. This tells DesignPlus that every block on this page is a course-level template content block.
    9
First, select the "theme" element to add the theme to the page.
    10
Under the "Add new elements" button on the DesignPlus toolbar, select "content block."
    11
Format your content block however you would like it to appear. Give a heading and a title, and add any other necessary content. You can add as many content blocks to this page as you want, and they will all show as individual template blocks.
    12
Once you've created your content blocks, click save.
    13
To use the content blocks you've created, open up and Canvas page, assignment, or discussion. Add the theme.
    14
Under the "Add new elements" tab, select "content block."
    15
On the "edit current element" tab on your DesignPlus menu, select "content block." There are three small buttons just above the dropdown menu. This allows you to filter the content blocks you see. 1st icon: display your course-level content blocks. 2nd icon: display primary content blocks from our team 3rd icon: display content blocks from Cidilabs. Deselect the second and third icons, so that just the course-level content blocks are visible.
    16
You should now see the content blocks you created on your template page. Click to import them into the course.
