    Navigate to [https://lposd.schoology.com/home](https://lposd.schoology.com/home)

    Click "COURSES"

    Click on your course.

    Click "Grade Setup"

    If you use weighted categories: Click the "Weight Categories" field. Otherwise, go to step 6.

    Click the "Category Name:" field.

    Type the name of your category.

    Make sure this option is "Total pts". If you plan on syncing with PowerSchool, you **must choose Total pts**. You can look up what percent does if you're interested, just know it will not sync with PowerSchool correctly.

    If you use weighted categories: Click the "Weight:" field and type in the weight of the specific category.

    Repeat steps 6-12 for each category you want.
