Create Email Template in the Email Workflow process

    • 0 step |
    • 45 seconds
The last step in the Email Workflow is called "Template" and here the user can create an Email subject as well as create an Email Template with the Template Builder. The user can add an Email Subject for their emails that will be generated and sent out. The Workflow Tags created in the previous step, can be used in this input field to construct a dynamic email subject that will be applied to all recipients. The created tags can be used by adding them inside two curly brackets, see example in screenshot.
The user can create a custom email template, by using the Template Builder.
In this example, we want to add an image to the template. Click on the "Image" content item and drag it onto the blue box in the Template Builder section.
This is what the Template Builder will look like after dragging the "Image" content item onto the builder.
Click the "Upload Image" button to find and select an image on your computer that you want to add to the template.
After uploading the image, this is what your "Template Builder" will look like.
Click the "Text" content item to add any body of text to your email template. Click and drag the item onto the "Template Builder" screen.
Once you have added the "Text" content item onto the template, you can now populate it with text.
Click "Merge Tags" to add any of the Workflow Tags or Dynamic Tags created in the previous step to your email body.
Selecting the "Merge Tags" option will populate a drop-down of all the Workflow Tags and Dynamic Tags available. Select any of these tags from the drop-down and they will be added to the text in the email body.
The user can change the font settings for any text in the email body.
When the "Email Subject" field has been completed as well as the email template, the user can click "Save" to save the Email Workflow. This Email Workflow will now be available in the listing view if the user needs to edit any of the steps.
