    Click "Automations"

    Click "Sequences"

    Click "Create sequence"

    Click this field to change the name of the sequence

    Click "Step 1" to choose the first step. For an email sequence you will choose "automated email"

    Click "Next: Add email content"

    Click "Create template" to create an email template unless you have another email template you'd like to use.

    Click "Name" to create the internal name of the email and "Subject" to create the subject line for this email.

    Next, you can start adding your email copy and if you'd like, you can hit personalize to add different properties like "first name" and "company name" to customize the email

    Type "frst name"

    Once You've added your copy and personalization tokens, Click "Save template"

    You can choose to create another email in the sequence. When you create the email, you can choose to make the email a reply in a chain of the email (which will keep the same subject line for the sequence" or Click "New thread — and the email will start a new thread with a new subject line

    After you've created the next step, in this case an email. You can choose the delay between each step by clicking the dropdown next to "Delay" Click "1 business day" and edit as needed.

    In any sequence you can also choose to add manual email taskss, general tasks, or call tasks. In this case, let's Click "Set a general task reminder"

    Here you can give the general task a title, set the priority, add it to a queue and add any notes for the task.

    Just like with emails, you can set a delay between all steps by hitting "delay" and Clicking "1 business day"

    Next hit "Save" in the top right and the name the sequence and choose who can access it. Usually you will want to Click "Everyone" unless you'd like to keep the sequence private until it has been reviewed.

    Next let's Click "Settings"
