Create Monochrome Bitmap in Photoshop

Open the image you wish to convert into Photoshop.

Once your image has loaded, click on the "Image" menu in the top toolbar.

From the dropdown, select "Mode >".

Click "Greyscale".

On the pompt that says "Discard color information?", click "OK".

Once again, click the "Image" menu in the top toolbar.

From the dropdown, select "Mode >".

Click "Bitmap...".

In this menu, click on the "Use:" dropdown.

Select "50% Threshold" from the list.

Click "OK"

You may now follow the steps to save the image.

Click on "File" in the top toolbar.

Select "Save As..." from the dropdown list.

Modify the name of the file to better identify what it is.

Click "Save".

Make sure the depth automatically set to 1 Bit. If so, click "OK".\ If not, please repeat the steps above, or re-open a new file and try again.
