Create New Customer Number

Click "Main Menu"

Click "Customers"

Click "Customer Information"

Click "Quick Customer Create"

Click "Template Customer" field/magnifying glass

Type "T" and select appropriate classification for the new customer.

Enter Contact Name, repeat Customer Name if no contact information is available.

Enter phone # (google or enter generic 000-000-0000 if needed)

Enter Customer Account Name

Enter street address.

Click and enter zip code, Tab out.

Select Geo-code by checking appropriate box; some results will show more than one option. Choose best match (city, county, etc).

Click "OK"

Click "Save"

This "Review MD" for address corrections panel will automatically pop up after zip code tabbing. (Recommended changes are highlighted in Red) {most corrections are to capitalize city and add +4 to zip} Note that the address detail on the left is the original entered address information. Melissa Data is the details shown on the right, highlighting changes.

Click "appropriate" option. The majority of MD corrections should be used, and you should click Use Melissa Data.

View new customer number.
