Reviewing settings for Nuclear Gauges as an Equipment Type

First let's check the settings for your Equipment Types to ensure we are ready to use the nuclear gauge log.

Click on the Settings gear icon in the top right corner, available from any page.

Search for 'nuclear' using the search box

Looks like we already have a category set up for nuclear gauges. Click on the link.

**Ensure this "Nuclear Gauge" checkbox has a check in it!**

Make sure also to click Save on the bottom of this screen if you have made any changes on this screen.

Creating 'Nuclear Gauges' as an Equipment Type if it is not set up already

If you search for nuclear and nothing comes up in the results, click Create New

Select a Category  --  in this example we'll choose Field Equipment

Enter a name -- in this example we'll call it Nuclear Gauge

**Important! Make sure that this checkbox has a check in it!** This will associate this category with the Nuclear Gauges Log.

Working with nuclear gauges in your Equipment inventory

You now have the option to associate the serial number from a standard block with your nuclear gauge, for completeness of your logging.

Click "Equipment" in the left navigation bar

Select Field Equipment from the Category dropdown

Select Nuclear Gauge from the Type dropdown
