From your site admin/staff account click "Portfolios & Groups" and "Manage Active Portfolios"

Select your Search Mode from the following options: "Last Name begins with", "Group", "Graduation Year", or "All Users in Site", then click "Generate New List"

Scroll down. Click "Create" next to the student you would like to create a parent account for

Click "Add New Parent Account"

Enter the required information. Usernames must contain at least 6 characters and are NOT case sensitive. Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include one capital letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. Then click "Add"

The parent account you just created will now appear. You are able to create one or multiple parent accounts for each student/user account
Option 2 - Batch Upload Multiple Parent Accounts

Select "Create Parent Account Upload Template" from the drop-down box of available portfolio tasks

Click "Select" to select all portfolios, or select individual portfolios you want to create parent accounts for by clicking the box next to their name. Then click "Execute Task"

Download the excel document when prompted, then click "Enable Editing"

When complete, click "File" and save the document to your device

Navigate back to Missouri Connections and click "Other Accounts" and "Create and Update Parent Accounts"

Click "Choose File" to find and select the file you just created and saved

Click "Trial run" and "Upload Parents"

If there are any upload errors, a red status code will appear. If there are no errors you can proceed. If there are errors click "Parent Upload Status Codes" to see what the error is. After identifying records with errors, update the excel document as needed and re-save it. You can complete as many trial runs as you need.

Click "Choose File" again to find and select the file you just created and saved
