    **Key Points & Deadlines** - Time should be **entered daily, submitted weekly on Fridays** (review button), and **approved weekly on Mondays** (or in accordance with our payroll schedule). - The Montrose workweek starts on Monday and ends on Sunday. - Pay periods run the 1st – 15th and 16th through end of month. Payroll payments are processed semi-monthly or biweekly (on the 10th and the 25th). - Timesheets lock for entry and submittal on the 15th and the 30th/31st at 11:59PM PST. - People and Project Managers must approve time on the 16th and the 1st by 3:00PM PST. - When the 16th or 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, time must be approved the following business day. - Timesheets are unlocked 2 days after timesheet lock. Missed time can be inputted or edited once timesheets are unlocked. - Time can be edited up to 60 days from period start date. - Time **cannot** be submitted in advance.

    - Navigate to the [[Time]] app on the Workday homepage. - You can also access your Apps via the [[Menu]] on the top right of the screen.

    - Select [[This Week]] on the **Enter Time** window.

    - Click on the [[Day]] you want to enter time for.

    - Enter [[Project Task]] in **Time Type** field.

    - Enter [[Hours]].

    - The **Project Role** field defaults to the role listed on the **Resource Plan** for the selected project. - If a worker is listed under multiple roles on the Resource Plan, there will be a drop-down menu available to select the appropriate role.

    - Leave **Location** field blank (only used for California). - Enter [[Comment]] (required).

    - Search for [[Project Task]] under **Time Type**.

    Enter [[Total Hours]] per day.

    - Scroll to the right. - Click [[Comments]].

    - Enter [[Comments ]]for each day worked.

    - Click [[(+)]] to add a new [[Project Task]]. - Repeat process for any additional Project Tasks.
