    7

On the left-hand side of the page you'll see all the tables that are included within this database. Take a moment to scroll through the tables and look at all the various fields and how they're configured.\ \ This is a great brand asset database template, but let's say that we also want to add a table that includes all of our brand *templates* in one place. That's what you're going to do next!\ \ Click '**+ Create table**'.

    8

Name this table '**Template'** and click "**Add table**".

    9

By default, this table includes three fields. \ \ Edit the last field in the table so that is shows the date the template was last update.\ \ Click the button to open the field settings.

    10

    Click "**Edit field**"

    11

Change the name of the field to '**Date Updated**'.\ \ Now **click the drop-down menu for the field format.**

    12

    Select the '**Date**' format.

    13

    Click "**Save**".

    14

Now we're going to change the second field in the table to show the person that created the template.\ \ This is where you can see how relational database functionality works. \ \ You're going to connect this field to the 'Creator' table that already exists within the database.\ \ **Select the field settings menu.**

    15

    Click "**Edit field**".

    16

Change the field name to '**Creator**'.\ \ Click the drop-down menu for the field types.

    17

    Click "**Link to table**".

    18

Click the drop-down menu and select '**Creators**' as the table to link to.

    19

    Click "**Save**".

    20

Now you're going to configure the first field in this table to include unique brand templates.\ \ Select the field settings menu for the first field.
