Create a Caller ID Policy
Apply this policy to users in order to show their caller ID as their department or company. Redacted

Navigate to [https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/dashboard](https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/dashboard)

Click "Caller ID policies"

Click "Add"

Name your policy. Ex. accounting caller ID

Click the "Add a description so you know why it was created"

Click here.

Keep this off

Keep this off. Enabling will relinquish a user's choice to call out as themselves or as the department or company.

input what name you want to show. Will not work inside the United States.

Type the new caller ID name; "Test Department"

Click the drop-down arrow

Click "Resource account" to show caller ID as the resource account's number\[ if a number has been assigned\]

Click "AAMain" to show the company main number, assuming this account has the company main number assigned to it.

Remember to save

Notice your new policy
