Navigate to [beehiiv](https://www.beehiiv.com/?via=guillaume) sign-up for an account and follow the onboarding instructions.

Fill in the details for your newsletter and click "**Continue**"

Tell them you heard about beehiiv via 100 School 😏... and then continue the rest of the onboarding.

Select the "**Get started with Launch**" option during onboarding.

Once you've finished the sign-up process, feel free to complete the tour within your dashboard if this is your first time using beehiiv.

One of the benefits of beehiiv is that your newsletter comes with its own publication site that houses your newsletters and other information about your business or project. The site is already configured for you, but you're able to customize several elements of the site to your preference.\

Let's look at some of the customization features, so that you know where they are. \

Click "**Customize your website**"

Make your publication site stellar

You're now in the editing suite for your publication site. \
\
Specifically, you're in the "**Styles**" section where you can change several aspects of your website's design. \
\
If you didn't add a logo during onboarding, add one now. \
\
Select this button in the "**Logo & Identity**" section.

You'll know when your logo has been added successfully because you'll see it appear here, and you'll see an on-screen notification appear.

Basic Info

Manage your general publication information below.

Logo

The logo that will appear across your publication.

(800px x 800px recommended)

Thumbnail

The thumbnail that will appear across your publication.

(1200px x 630px recommended)

Private Publication

Your site and publication are only accessible to logged in subscribers on your list. Anyone else who visits your site will see all posts as gated.

Require Subscriber Approval

Allow any reader who visits your site to request access to this publication by entering their email, which you can approve or deny in the Audience → Subscribers section.

Remove beehiiv branding

Toggle on to remove beehiiv branding

Enterprise and Max customers can remove beehiiv branding from email and web.

Return back to the website editor and review the colors that are used within your website template. \
\
Click this icon next to "**Global Colors**"

Select your color preferences and when you're finished, click this icon to go back.\
\
Note: As you change the colors in the editor, you'll see your website update in real-time on the screen.

Select "**Typography**" to change the fonts that are used throughout your site.

Tweak the typography to your preferences, again, you'll see the changes update on your website to the right-hand side.

Spend some time exploring the rest of the sections in the editor.\

If you'd like to add social links to your site, you can do that in the footer.\
\
Select "**Global Footer**"
