Create a Newsletter Sign-Up Form

How to create a form (shared via link) where users can input their own information to subscribe your Mailchimp updates.

Mailchimp

Navigate to your Mailchimp homepage

Click "Campaigns"

Click "Create"

Click "Landing Page"

Name your landing page. Ex: "Subscribe to Our Newsletter"

Select the Mailchimp audience you'd like new subscribers to be added to.

Click "Begin"

Select "Grow Your List" from the template options.

Click the "Email Address" field.

In the editing pane on the right, make sure "First Name" and "Last Name" are selected as well as email. You can reorder the input fields by clicking the 3 dots to the left of the field name and dragging up or down.

You can edit the style of the input fields and subscribe button under "Style" on the right.

Design your landing page as you would any Mailchimp newsletter. I recommend including a photo of yourself in the header.

When you've finished editing, click "Save & Close"

If you'd like, you can edit the text at the end of your URL link under "URL" Under "Audience and tags" you can create a tag to be auto-applied to all contacts who use the form. Ex: "self-subscribe"

When you're ready, click "Publish" - Don't worry you can come back and edit this landing page at any time.

Copy the URL here once you've published it. You can also access the URL anytime by navigating to your campaigns tab in Mailchimp.
