    Select your project, e.g., "B07".

    Click "Create Project or Category" to create a new OMICs project.

    Alert! It's of utmost importance selecting PROJECT at this step.

    Add a "Title", a select the Project "Type", the owner and add a short "Description" (max. 512 characters). Also fill README, including smalls portions of text that contains keywords of biological problems and mention. Having a comprehensive README facilitates searching for the project.

    Do not change any other parameter. Click in "Create" to consolidate the changes and create this project.

    Click "SampleSheets"

    Click "Sheet Operations"

    Click "Create from Template"

    There are several templates to pick depending on the OMICs experiment type, or experimental design. If you have questions, contact us so we can help you to select the most relevant template. Select the "bulk_rnaseq" for the simplest RNA-seq template.

    Now is time to the metadata template fill Double-click the "investigation_title\*" field. Use a descriptive title, including where the sample was obtained, sequencing technology, study design

    If you have questions or doubts for one field, add placeholder and come edit it later.

    Click the "sample_names\*" field, and the sample names separated by commas. Fill the other fields and drop-down aiming for completeness. These can be edited in a later stage.
