Click [this link](https://www.veed.io/tools/ai-avatar) to locate the AI Avatar creation tool.\ \ Click "**Create your avatar!**"
    3
Select any AI avatar of your choice. \ \ If you want to follow along with this specific example, select Devon.
    4
After you've selected your AI avatar, you'll be asked to enter a script. \ \ You can enter anything you like here (up to 3000 characters), but as you're just experimenting for now, keep it fairly short, a few sentences will do fine.\ \ Use this text if you're not sure what to write:\ \ '*Hi, I'm Devon. and I'm here to celebrate day 74 of 100 Days of AI. Right now you're creating a talking head video, using me, Devon, as an AI avatar.*'
    5
When you're finished with the script, click the '**Generate Video**' button.\ \ On the free plan you can test one AI Avatar video for free, so double-check your script before generating!
    6
Once your video has generated, click the play button below the video to see how your video looks and sounds!
    7
You're now going to make your video more accessible and engaging by adding subtitles. \ \ Click the '**Subtitles**' menu on the left-hand menu.
    8
You're now going to automatically generate subtitles for your video.\ \ Select the '**Auto-subtitle**' subtitle option.
    9
Select your preferred subtitles style from the available options.
    10
Play your video to see how the subtitles look.
    11
To make edits, simply click on the subtitle you want to edit within the editor and adjust it as you would in a text editor. The video will automatically update.\ \ Veed will highlight words that it has a low confidence are correct.\ \ In this example you'll see that the subtitles have written the avatar's name as 'Devin' rather than 'Devon,' so you can correct that here within the text editor.
    12
You're now going to add some music to add some texture to the video. \ \ Click '**Audio**' in the left-hand menu.
    13
You're welcome to add any audio you like while experimenting, but if you'd like to follow along, **select the 'Find (instrumental chill lofi) option and click the + icon.** This will add it to your video and editor at the bottom of the screen.
    14
In this example, our audio file is several minutes long, but our video is only 10 seconds long. \ \ To bring our audio in line with our video, click and drag the end of the audio file and put it in line with the rest of the video.
    15
You should end up with something that looks like this.
    16
When you're finished, play the video again to see how everything sounds.\ \ Tweak the audio settings until you're happy with how the music sounds with your video.
    17
You're now going to add a little branding to the video. \ \ Select '**Media**' from the left-hand menu.
    18
Upload a logo to your video. If you're following along with this example, you can upload the 100DaysofAI logo that's included in the lesson email.
    19
Adjust the size of the logo by dragging the nodes, and move the logo to the top left-hand side of the video.
    20
Click '**Done**' in the top-right hand corner of the page.
