    Navigate to [](
    On the campaign object, Click "New"
    Choose "Development" as your record type
    Fill out name information
    Change the status. I chose Planned, but you can go in and change to in progress by clicking "edit" on the campaigns record page.
    Click "Planned"
    Click the "Active" field.
    Click "--None--"
    Click "Fundraiser"
    Choose your event organizer by typing their name and selecting their contact record from the drop down.
    Click the "Parent Campaign" field. If there is a parent campaign assigned you will search here.
    Click "Save"
