Create a new Project, add a Group, and create a Production Environment

Navigate to the Lagoon UI and your organization.

Click the "Project name" field.

Enter the name for your project.
Project names must be all lower case, no spaces or underscores, only dashes. Project names must also be globally unique.

Click the "Git URL" field.

Enter the URL for your project.

Click the "Production Environment" field.

Enter the production environment (you'll be creating this in a later step). Generally this will be "main" or "master," reflecting your production branch.

Click to view the available deploy targets for this project.

Select the deploy target you wish to use for this project.

You can check this box if you want your user to be added to the project.

Click "Add" to create the project.

Now we're going to add a group to the project.

Find the project you've just created and click on it.
