    1
    Navigate to [https://dashboard.accushield.com/](https://dashboard.accushield.com/landing)
    2
    Click "Settings & "Alerts"
    3
For a new alert, click "Create New Alert"
    4
Add in a specific name in the "Reason for Alert" field.
    5
If you want this alert to send when a specific person signs-in to the kiosk - put that persons phone number into the "Specific Visitor" field. Below are a few examples this type of alert might be used: - AR Upkeep - family member who visits and consistently pays rent late - Ombudsman Alert - Ombudsman signing into the community - Restraining Order - individual should not be visiting a resident or be on community property
    6
If there are different profiles with the same number, you may need to choose that visitor from the "Specific Visitor" dropdown.
    7
If you don't know what phone number a person has used for sign-in, you can reference the "Visitor Log / Ledger" under "Reports" - adjust the date range & use the filters to search for that person's name and you should see what data they provided in past sign-ins.
    8
If you want this alert to send when a vendor from a specific company signs-in to the kiosk - type the name of the company in the "Specific Company" field. Below are a few examples this type of alert might be used: - Company Challenges - a specific company giving the community issues - Self-Employed Sign in - a self-employed provider signing in at the kiosk - State Employee Alert - state employee signing into the community
    9
If you want an alert to send when someone is signing in to visit a specific resident, signing in to visit a specific staff member or are signing in to attend event, you will want to click the "Reason for Visiting" dropdown and make your choice.
    10
For a Resident Alert, you will have to choose that resident from the "Resident Name" dropdown. Below are a few examples this type of alert might be used: - Residents who shouldn't have visits - Care Change Conversations - be notified when residents get a visit if you need to talk to a specific residents family about care changes with their loved one. - Restraining Order - a visitor should not be visiting a resident, but you're unable to setup a visitor alert because you don't know their phone number.
    11
For a Staff Alert, you will have to choose that staff from the "Staff Name" dropdown. Below are a few examples this type of alert might be used: - Personal visit - personal notification when someone selects your name in the kiosk - Staff notification - alerts to a staff member that is moving locations often such as a maintenance director
    12
For an Event Alert, you will have to choose the event from the "Event Name." This can give you a good idea about attendance for specific events.
    13
If you also want to be notified when this person signs-out at the kiosk, you can choose "Yes" for "Send this alert on sign-out?"
    14
Decide which of your staff should receive this alert - and if they will receive it via a text notification, an email notification or both.
    15
Accushield defaults to showing only 5 staff at a time - so you may need to click the arrow to view more staff or change the "Items per page" dropdown to a higher number.
    16
If you don't want the texts for this alert to be sent 24 hours a day, you can set parameters by choosing "Send alerts only during the following hours"
    17
Click "Save" once you're done setting up your alert.
    18
To update an existing alert, click the pencil icon associated with the alert.
    19
From here, you can update any field/parameter related to the alert including adding more staff to receive the alert.
    20
    Once done editing, click "Update"
