      Open the "InEight Model Desktop Application".

      If the *Tags and Objects panel* is already open on the right side of the model application skip to step 4.

      In the model application toolbar, click "View".

      In the view drop-down menu, click "Tags and Objects".

      In the *Tags and Objects Panel,* click "Tags".

      In the tags menu, click "Add".

      If there are model objects selected, Ctrl+T will open the Tag dialog box.

      In the *tag dialog box* , click "Static".

      In the *tag dialog box* , enter a tag category name, click "Add New".

      In the *tag dialog box* , enter a tag value, click "Add New".

      When done, click "OK".
