    Navigate to the College and Career website at [https://sites.google.com/d214.org/college-career-center](https://sites.google.com/d214.org/college-career-center)

    Click "Working Your Plan"

    Click "College Applications"

    Click "Click here for the Common Application"

    Click "Create an account"

    Click "First year student"

    Enter your email address and create a password.

    Enter your legal first and last name.

    Enter your phone number, date of birth, home address, and answer NO to the question about European Union.

    Select APPLYING AS FIRST -YEAR STUDENT

    Review the three □ agreements, select if they are appropriate, and click CREATE ACCOUNT.

    Click "Common App"

    If you prefer to use a different name other than your legal name, select YES. Otherwise, select NO. (we recommend selecting NO just for simplicity)

    Confirm your birthday is accurate and click CONTINUE.

    For the majority of students, you will select NO ALTERNATE ADDRESS and then click CONTINUE.

    Enter your phone number and any alternative phone numbers if you prefer to, and click CONTINUE.

    Answer the questions about preferred gender, legal sex, preferred pronouns, US Armed Forces, Hispanic/Latinx, Identification, and White background (if applicable), and click CONTINUE.

    Select the number of languages you speak, what those languages are and your proficiency, and click CONTINUE.

    Enter your birth country, city of birth (if applicable), state of birth (if applicable), number of years living in the US, and citizenship, then click CONTINUE.

    If you receive free or reduced lunch, are on a fee waiver at BG, or feel like you meet one of the criteria listed, select YES and click CONTINUE. If you are unsure, save your progress and contact Mr. Genovese.
