1
Click the "+" icon on the Dashboard to create a new service request.
2
Enter a title and then select the location of the request.
3
Select a Unit location from the list, or click on "Residents" to search for a specific resident. (Note - if you have non-unit locations, they will be in the unit list, ie., building exterior, grounds, pool, clubhouse).
4
Type in a few letters of the resident's first or last name and select the appropriate name from the filtered list. (Note - this is the preferred method when created a request for an occupied unit as it populates the resident's contact information into the request.)
5
Click here to select the Service Professional you wish to assign the request to.
6
Select a Service Professional from the list. (Note - this is a required step. If you wish to leave the request "Not Assigned", select that option from the list.)
7
Make the appropriate "Severity" selection.
8
If you need to add additional information such as "Authorized to Enter", scheduling dates, tags/categorization, photos, click "MORE OPTIONS".
9
An expanded form will open in your window for you to add additional context to the request.
10
Its a best practice to include an additional description of the issue, upload photos if available, add "Tags" (service categories) or even edit the exact location of the issue on the map.
11
When you've made all of the appropriate selections, click "REQUEST" to finalize and route the request to the technician/service professional you selected. (Note - if you are not completely done with the request and need to gather more information, just click "DRAFT" and you can edit the request later.)
12
Congrats - you created your first Service Request! Your NOC (New, Open, Complete) widget on your Dashboard will update to reflect that you have added a new request in the Open state and is awaiting your Service Professional to Accept and Complete the request.
