Creating a New Static Group on ParentSquare

Navigate to [https://www.parentsquare.com/signin](https://www.parentsquare.com/schools/26302/feeds)

Under Participate, click "Groups."

In the upper right-hand corner, click "New Group."

Click "New Static Group."

Type the name of your group and a description.

Choose how your group can be accessed. **Public** - anyone in the school can view the group's contents and join the group, so anyone who searches can possibly see your posts. e.g., Student Council or Info About Campus-Wide Events | **Private** - only group members you add can view the group's contents e.g., members of a club or team | **Confidential** - private group that hides the display name of the group in feed posts and notifications. Members will not know they are in this group. e.g. students with attendance issues.
You can also add other teachers as group owners.

Select how you want to add members to your group.

After you have added all of your group members, click "Save."
Tip! After you've created your group, you can go back and add members (or delete them) by clicking the gear icon on your list of groups under "Participate."
