Creating a New Static Group via CSV on ParentSquare

Navigate to [https://www.parentsquare.com/](https://www.parentsquare.com/districts/2342)

Click Groups

Click "New Group"

Click "New Static Group"

Click the "Display Name" field and give your group a name

\[OPTIONAL\] Click the "Description" field to provide a description of your group. Useful if your group will be public so people will know what your group is about.

Select the type of group you want to create, Public, Private or Confidential

Click "Save and Add People"
Tip! You can add additional group owners and managers if others need admin rights to this group

Expand the 'Add members by uploading CSV' panel

Click "Upload Student CSV File"
Tip! Most of the time you will use the "Upload Student CSV File", but the staff and guest options are there if you are creating a group based on staff or guest accounts.

Follow the remaining prompts to upload your CSV file. Once complete, you can edit group membership as needed or wipe it out and start over.
