    Creating a Portfolio in Asana

    Click "New portfolio"
    Give the portfolio a name.
    Set the privacy for the portfolio depending on your organization's rules.
    Click "Continue"
    Click "Go to portfolio"
    Click "Add a project or portfolio by name" to add a project to the portfolio. You can add as many or as few will be helpful.
    You can also add projects to the portfolio by clicking "Add word".

    Adding Fields to a Portfolio

    To add additional fields to the portfolio click "Options".
    Click "Add".
    You can either create a custom field under "Create New" or select an already existing field under 'Choose from library".
    Select the field you want to add.

    How to Hide a Field in a Portfolio

    In "Options", you can toggle a field either on or off depending on whether you want that field to be visible in the portfolio. \*You aren't deleting any fields, just hiding them from view.

    Grouping Projects in a Portfolio

    If you have a large number of projects in a portfolio, grouping can be helpful.
    Once you click "Group" there are multiple options already made or you can create a custom field to group by.

    Progress Type in a Portfolio

    Click "Progress type" to change how progress is measured. The default is Task but it can be changed to Milestone.
    Click "Milestone"
