    1
    Navigate to [https://www.mentimeter.com/app/home](https://www.mentimeter.com/app/home)
    2
    Click "New presentation"
    3
Click this text field to change the name of your presentation.
    4
Click "Import" and you will be prompted to drag and drop your slides or browse and select your slides to be imported.
    5
The larger your slide deck, the longer it takes to upload. Once you are told your slides have been imported, click the X on this box to start playing with your slides.
    6
Content button on the right allows you to edit the content.
    7
Click "Design" if you want to change any of the design of your slide. For imported PP slides there is not much you can change. This tab is more useful if you're creating slides within mentimeter itself.
    8
Similarly, "Themes" allows you to change some of the colors of the slides you make in mentimeter, but not the slides you imported.
    9
When you select the interactivity tab you can determine if you want any icons on your slide which attendees can use. I tend to delete these on my PP, content slide because it can be distracting to see people doing this. If you wanted people to you the ? icon as a way of interrupting you to ask a question, that can be effective.
    10
Click the "Show instructions bar" field if you want the mentimeter polling instructions on the top of your slide.
    11
Click the "Show QR code" field if you want the QR code available for people to access mentimeter polling. The QR code is large though, so probably not ideal.
    12
Click "New slide" to put in a mentimeter slide. This includes the login instructions and polls.
    13
Click this icon to include the mentimeter login instructions.
    14
Click the thumbs up button or the heart icon on the instructions slide so you know when people have successfully accessed mentimeter.
    15
There are three dots beneath the number of each slide which allows you to duplicate your slide, copy it to another presentation, or to delete it.
    16
When prompted by an uploadted PP slide to add a poll, click "New slide"....
    17
and select which type of poll you want to use. Here we are picking a multiple choice question.
    18
For the poll, play with the content, design, and interactivity tabs on the right to get the poll just the way you want it to look.
    19
You could even include images as a backdrop to your poll or on the side of the question you are proposing. This adds some visual interest.
    20
For a multiple choice question decide if you want to use bars, the donut, the pie, or dots for the responses.
