    Creating a Task Template in Asana

    Option 1

    Once in the project, click "customize" on the right hand side.

    Click "task template"

    Click "Add task template"

    Name your task template and add all details you want to show up each time you use that template.

    You can have the task share to another project, add due dates, all of the actions of a regular task.

    You can also have the template automatically add Subtasks.

    Click "Done"

    Option 2

    Click "add new" within the project where you want the template to be.

    Click "Add task"

    Once the task is created, select the details arrow.

    Add all of the details you want to be in the task template.

    Click the three ellipses in the upper right hand corner of the details bar.

    Click "Convert task to template"

    To Use the Task Template

    While in list view in the project where you made the task template, click "add new".

    Click on which template you would like to use. It will then add to your project as a new task with all of the previously added formatting and settings.
