      Selecting Fields

      Click into cell ""C" 8" and then drag to "G" "15". This will select the cells you want to format with drop down lists.

      Once your selection looks like the example below, press onto the "Data" tab.

      Click "Data Validation".

      Under the validation criteria for "Allow:" change the drop down from 'Any Value' to "List".

      Select "List".

      Click into the "Source:" field.

      Tip! You can also select data within the sheet to act as your source rather than typing a list. We will cover this in a separate guide.

      Type [[Yes,No]]. You can type more values if you need them and make sure you separate them with commas.

      Click on cell "C" 8" of our sample sheet.

      You will now have a basic dropdown box prompting for Yes or No.
