Click "Products and services"

Click "New"

Choose what type of Product or Service to Create

Type name of service (in this example "Shirt Sales")

Click the "Description on sales forms" field.

Type "Shirt Sales"

Enter SKU, Category or Class (if applicable)

The Description is what will show up on the invoice description

Map the Product/Service to the Appropriate Income Account.
