Add the theme, banner, and title to a page.

    1
Navigate to the course page and select "edit."
    2
In the DesignPlus sidebar, select the "theme" element. You must always add a theme to a page before editing.
    3
To edit the title of the banner, select "banner title" element.
    4
Use the "content" menu to edit the title of the banner. You can tap the X to remove the prefixes.

Add template content blocks to a page

Content blocks help to visually "chunk" information on a page within Canvas. Content blocks include a heading and an icon, both of which have already been formatted with our template.
    5
To add a content block, click the "add new elements" tab.
    6
    Select "Content Block."
    7
Within the content block element, open the "content" dropdown. Under "general," you will find our series of content block templates. Click the content block you want to add to the page. Notice, you can add this content so it overwrites the content block you have selected, or you can add the material above or below.

    Add a customized content block

    8
You can add a blank content block to the page that you can customize. Just click on either of the "add new content block" buttons.
    9
Within the "content block" element, open the "content" dropdown menu. You can change the name of the content block heading in the "block heading" box. You can also select an icon.
