Creating an Observation in Data Collection

Navigate to [https://dashboard.teachstone.com/](https://qatdashboard.teachstone.com/)

Select CLASS Data Collection from the tile or the Observations dropdown.

Select the organization you want to enter an observation for. In this case the organization is called, "Learning Resources".

Click "Create Observation"

Select the version of CLASS you wish to use for your observation.

Enter the observation date.

Select the number of cycles in the observation.

Select the center from your organization's hierarchy.

Select the classroom from the dropdown.

The teachers associated with that classroom should be automatically added, but feel free to remove teachers not there, or type in teacher's names to add them to the observation. If what you type matches a teacher already in the organization it will allow you to select them.

Select the age range of the children in the classroom.

You can also add a job id, include the Environment assessment or mark this as a double coding session.

Congratulations, at this point you can create your observation.
