    Creating your NEMCC Single Sign-on Account

      Getting Started

      You will need two devices for this process. It is best to start setup on iPad or computer. Your phone will be needed in the final steps to setup Microsoft Authenticator.
      Navigate to <https://www.nemcc.edu> (Northeast Homepage)
      Click "MyNEMCC."
      For the first time logging in, click "First time logging in? Forgotten your password?"
      Click "Work or school account."
      Enter your Northeast email in the email field and enter the characters you see on your screen. Click Next. Your Northeast email is also called NETid and is provided on the acceptance email that was sent to the personal email you provided on your Northeast application. If you did not receive this email, reach out to the Admissions Office at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or call 662-720-7423. Hours of operation are 8am - 4pm Mon. - Thurs. and 8am - 12pm Fri.

      Verify your personal email and phone number

      Before you can create your password, you must verify your personal email and mobile phone number. Let's get started with email. Click email to receive a verification code to your personal email.
      Enter the code that was emailed to your personal email. Click Next. If you do not receive the code to your personal email, there may be an error in the personal email we have on file. Reach out to the Northeast Admissions Office to verify and/or update your personal email. You may email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or call 662-720- 7423 between the hours of 8am - 4pm Mon - Thurs. and 8am - 12pm Fri.
      Continue to the "Enter your phone number" field and enter your phone number to receive a text code for verification. If you do not receive the code to your mobile phone, there may be an error in the mobile phone number we have on file. Reach out to the Northeast Admissions Office to verify and/or update your mobile phone number.       Create Your Single Sign-on Password

      Once your personal email and mobile phone number have been verified, create a password for your MyNEMCC account. Follow the criteria below for your new password/passphrase: \*\*Please write this password/passphrase down and save in a safe place. You will need this password every time you log into NE services (Canvas, email, myNEMCC, wifi, etc.) 1. 8+ characters 2. Upper case 3. Lower case 4. Special character ($,#,!,&, etc.) 5. Numerical character 6. Do not use the word tigers or any part of your name in the password/passphrase. 7. Confirm your new password/passphrase 8. Click "Finish"
      Choose "click here" to log in and complete setup by adding your Microsoft authentication methods.

      Microsoft Authenticator Setup

      Your final task is to set up your Microsoft authenticator. This is an added layer of security to your account and requires your mobile phone. Now that we are back to sign in, you will select your email or sign in again with your NETid (Northeast email address). Remember your email address is provided on the acceptance email sent to the personal email provided on the application.
      Enter your Password. This is the same password you created in the previous steps.
      Select "Next" to provide more information and set up authentication.
      You will be directed to download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile phone.
      On your mobile phone, search for Microsoft Authenticator in the App Store or Play Store. Please note that Microsoft Authenticator is a free application. Download this application.
