Get your ad creative ready to go.

1. Draft what you want your ad to say. Here is an example of the text I used for this tutorial ad: "Summer gets a lot of attention, but winter is absolutely magical in McCall. From deep powder to bluebird groomers, hot springs to spa treatments, hearty breakfasts to après drinks and apps, it is safe to say we go all in on winter in the mountains. Come see what winter adventures you can have this year. Plan a getaway to McCall and start loving winter again!"
2. Find or create your images. Using photos is 100% amazing and what I would recommend for your first ads. If you do want to add any text or design, I recommend formatting those to be 1080 pixels wide by 1350 tall. That size is most commonly used for ads across Instagram and Facebook.

\*I prefer to use Business Suite over "Meta Ads Manager" for your first few ads - it is much more straightforward, but do know that there is a more robust platform to build Meta ad campaigns on. You can check that out at <https://adsmanager.facebook.com/>

Choose your ad goal. I generally recommend starting with "get more website visitors."

Create an ad to send people to your website

Edit the "Description" field. This will default to what you have on your FB page description. Be sure to end it with a call-to-action!

Answer the McCall of the Wild and explore our stunning mountain town in the heart of Idaho. There is an adventure for every season!

Next, add your image(s). Click "Select media"

You may need to delete out the first default image. Add up to 5 images.

Click "Select" once you have all of your images selected.

Click the "Headline" field and add in a unique headline for each image.

Click "Right arrow" to navigate to all of your images to add headlines

Click "Button Label" and select your call to action. I like to use "Learn More"

Click "Website URL" and paste in the url of your website

Next, let's pick our audience. You can either choose to have Meta pick the audience for you or choose your own. Skip the next steps if you want to keep the "Advantage+ audience." If you want to choose your own audience, click this radio button.

Select gender target. \
Slide the Age slider to select your age target.

Click "Change radius" and select the radius around your selected geographic region.
