Creating a Unique Synthetic Voice Using ElevenLabs

This exercise assumes you already have an account with ElevenLabs and are signed in.\

Click '**Voices**' from the left-hand menu.

Click **"Add a new voice"**

Click the '**Voice Design**' option.

Select a **Gender** from the drop-down menu.

Select an '**Age**' from the drop-down menu.

Select an '**Accent**' from the drop-down menu.

Select an '**Accent Strength**' using the sliding scale.

Leave the predefined text as is, and click '**Generate**'.

Your newly generated voice will autoplay the predefined text on the screen. \

Click '**Use Voice**'.

On the next screen you'll be prompted to give your voice a name and description. \
\
Enter a name for your voice in the '**Name**' field.

Now enter a description of your voice in the description field and click '**Create Voice**'.

You'll now be taken back to the 'Voices' interface. \
\
Find the voice you created and click "**Use voice**"

You'll be taken back to the screen where you'll now be able to create audio using the voice you just created.

This time you'll use '**Text to Speech**'. \

Type some text into the text field and select the voice you just generated from the voice list.

Click '**Generate speech**'.

Once the audio is generated, it'll play automatically. \

You can download the audio from the download icon (bottom right) or find your audio saved in the '**History**' tab.

Great work today. You've synthesized your own voice and created an entirely new voice using AI voice synthesis!
