      1
Open Device Manager. When no devices are connected, the interface will appear as shown below.
      2
Click on **"Connect"** at the bottom right of the page, then select **"Get Beacon List"** to connect to your Charging Stations, Sync Docks, and Beacons.
      3
All connected devices should now appear in the table.
      4
Select the connected Charging Stations and Sync Docks, and check their IP addresses. The auto-assigned IP addresses should not conflict with each other. If they do, go into Charging Station Settings to change them.

Typically, Charging Stations have IP addresses starting from 10.133.5.101. Sync Docks have IP addresses starting from 10.133.5.201.
      5
If the Charging Stations or Sync Docks cannot be connected, navigate to **Settings > Device Manager Configuration**.
      6
In the pop-up dialog, check the CS NIC Address (default is 10.133.5.9) and ensure it is reachable by the Charging Stations and Sync Docks.

You can verify connectivity by pinging the CS NIC Address from the server.
      7
Select a Beacon and navigate to the Device Settings widget. The following fields will be displayed.

      - **Preset Beacon:** Allows you to apply preset configurations to the Beacon. The Beacon ID will match the preset, and all other settings will reset to default. - **Calibration Beacon:** When enabled, this boosts the Beacon's radio performance at the cost of battery life. This should only be enabled during fixture calibration, and disabled afterwards. - **Beacon ID:** Assigns a unique ID to each Beacon. Beacons with different IDs flash in unique patterns, enabling Motive to recognize them. All Beacons must have distinct IDs. - **Wireless Channel & Subnet:** Sets the frequency and subnet for the Beacon's radio signal used to communicate with the TimeKeeper and Router. Beacons must share the same wireless channel and subnet to receive synchronization. The default wireless channel is 26, and the subnet is 35. - **LED Brightness:** Adjusts the brightness of the infrared LED on the stringer connected to the Beacon. Increasing brightness reduces the Beacon's battery life.
      8
When selecting a Mini Beacon, fewer fields will appear in the Device Settings widget. Mini Beacons do not have wireless radio functions, so only the Beacon ID and LED Brightness settings are available.
      9
Firmware updates can be performed through Device Manager: 1. **Download Firmware Packages**: Download the firmware package from BlackTrax's [**Members' Only Downloader**](https://cast-soft.com/downloads/downloads-blacktrax/). 2. **Access Device Settings**: In the Device Settings widget, click **"Browse"** to locate the downloaded firmware file for the selected device. 3. **Upload Firmware**: Click **"Upload"** to begin the firmware update.
