You may have noticed a light colored emoji in the corner of the SpeedGrader Comment Field.

You can use it to add emojis to your feedback and comments to students, if you so choose.

But, if that little emoji gets on your last nerve, you can disable it. Here's how. Click "Gradebook" to get back to your course menu.

Click the three lines (hamburger) "Show Courses Navigation Menu" to get to your Course Menu.

Click "Settings"

Click "Feature Options"

Find "Emojis in Submission Comments". Click the Green Arrow (indicating the current state: Enabled)

Click "Disabled"
