      PLEASE NOTE: Only open attachments from trusted sources! If in doubt, check with the person who sent the attachment to make sure it's legitimate. Suspicious attachments can be sent to [email protected] to help prevent "phishing" attacks in our organization.

      Save the attached file to your computer

      Click the small arrow on the attached file
      Click "Download" in the dropdown that appears.
      The file will be automatically downloaded to your computer's "Downloads" folder. Go to your computer's Downloads folder to find the file. You can now open it, or move it to another location on your computer.
      TIP: As an added layer of security, scan your saved files **before** you open them by navigating to the file on your computer, right-clicking on the file, and selecting "Scan with....". This will scan the file with your computer's anti-virus program (if you have one installed).

      Preview the attached file

      Many files can be previewed without saving it to your computer. If you trust that this file is legitimate and safe to open, click once on the attached file to open the preview window. **If you are unsure of whether this attachment is safe to open, do not open it**.
      You can also download the file from within the preview window by clicking "Download". The file will automatically be downloaded to your computer's Download folder where you can open it or move it to another location on your computer.
      To close the preview window, click the "X" button at the top right corner of the preview window.
