Draw lines and shapes on your map (desktop)

Navigate to "My Maps." Select the map you want to edit, or the "Create New Map" button and search for the property of interest.
Choose the theme (e.g. Ranching, Oil & Gas, Urban) for your mapped items.
Click on "Lines" or "Shapes" to select an item type.
Click on your desired line or shape from the map items.
**Tip:** Filter the map items by selecting the buttons for All, Points, Lines or Shapes.
Click on the map to start your line or shape.
Click on the map to drop white dots that create your line or shape.
To finish your line or share, double-click, press "Enter" or click on your first, originating point.
Note: as you add points to the line (or shape), the total distance (or area) of the item is updated and displayed at the upper right of your map.
