    Start in the Sample company.
    To complete this exercise, you must be in the Sample company. From your QBOA account, click the Gear icon on the top right corner of the screen, then select Sample company.
    Note that you will be logged out of your current account. If you are sure, click "Continue" to confirm.
    Now you can start the exercise.

    Create a Recurring Transaction

    Craig's rent for the storage unit is due on the first day of every month. The rent bill is due upon receipt.
    Click the gear icon.
    Click "Recurring transactions"
    Click "New"
    "Bill" should already be selected. Click "OK"
    In the Template name field, type "Storage Unit"
    In the Vendor field, select "Hall Properties"
    The Interval should already be set to happen monthly on the first day of every month. Confirm that this is the case.
    In the Start date field, select the first day of the upcoming month. *Note: Your date will differ from the one pictured below.*
    In the Terms field, select "Due on receipt"
    In the Category field, select "Rent or Lease"
    In the Description field, type "Storage Unit Rental"
    In the Amount field, enter "200"
    Click "Save template"
