    Editing an Existing Assessment

        From your course dashboard, choose the content you wish to update by selecting "Content".

        Then expand the chapter you wish to edit.

        Click the assessment to be edited.

        Click on "Instructor View" from the left navifation menu.

        Change your view to "Authoring Mode" to made edits.

        Hovering over the assessment will reveal your authoring options. Click "EDIT" to make changes to an existing assessment. You can also replace it with a different existing quiz or remove the assessment entirely.

        Click "Add New Item" to create a new question to be added to the assessment.

        Click the text field labeled "Reference" to change the name of the question to something you can find again later.

        Click the "+" to add a new question.

        Choose your question type. Note that you have additional question types available through the menus located to the left of the screen.

        Click in the field labeled "\[This is the stem\]" to write your question.

        Set the correct answer and change the points if you wish.

        Click on "Save" in the upper right corner of the screen. When your work has successfully saved, this button will turn to green.

        Click "DONE" to add more questions or finish editing the quiz.

        Click "Add Existing Item" to search the question bank.

        Click on the drop down arrow on the field "Find the Reference"

        This will expand your search options to make finding the appropriate question easier.

        Click the search button once you have filled the search parameters of your choosing.

        Click this checkbox next to the question of your choosing.

        Click "Done" once you have finished selecting questions to be added to your quiz.
