    Enable UDOIT Features for Course Accessibility

    Navigate to your Canvas Course

    Click "Settings" to enable the tool within your Canvas site.

    Click "Navigation"

    Click the snowman (3 dots) beside the UDOIT item.

    Click "Enable"

    UDOIT will now show on the course navigation (for faculty only, not students). Click "UDOIT"

    Click to Authorize the tool.

    You will get a welcome screen with information about UDOIT, an overview video, what UDOIT looks for, and how you can fix found issues. The overview video is also available at <https://youtu.be/gXA4vD7wuws?si=xSwvzCGCfYq-asUk>

    Click "Continue"

    Select the way you want to start. Then, Click "Get Started"

    Once the scan is finished, UDOIT will list found errors. Click "Review" to look at the first listed error.

    In many cases, you can fix the issue within this pop-up box.

    Click "Save" when finished making changes.

    If it is not something that can be fixed within UDOIT, click to Mark as Resolved. This will remove the issue from UDOIT's radar. But make a note to fix the issue later within the Canvas course.

    Click "Next Issue" to move on to the next issue on UDOIT's list. Continue this process until finished.

    Under the UFIXIT tab, you will see the list of found issues and a dashboard row showing the number of errors, suggestions, fixed, resolved, and reviewed.

    Click "Review Files" to review files that contain possible accessibility issues.

    You will see a list of files that contain errors. You can change viewing order, view or download the file.
