    Enabling Multifactor Authentication in Slack

      Navigate to [my.slack.com/account/settings](http://my.slack.com/account/settings)
      Scroll to "Multifactor Authentication" under "Account" and click "Expand"
      Click "Set Up Two-Factor Authentication"
      Select your preferred authentication application or SMS text message (note: some authentication applications may cost money--SMS is recommended)
      You may be prompted to authenticate via Google SSO--if so, go ahead and sign in
      Type your phone number if SMS is selected or select your authentication application
      Click "Add phone number"
      Enter the verification code you are sent
      Click "Verify code and enable"
      Store the backup codes in a secure location. Do not save locally to your machine. Storing these codes in a password manager is recommended.
