Using the Export Arrow (aka Burgundy Export Arrow)

Tip! If you see the "burgundy color export arrow" (see picture below), it means the document that you are viewing has been exported to OnBase/Epic. You do not need to do any thing to this document if you see the arrow icon. You can select it and view the export status explained below in this document. If you reconcile the transaction to a CSN Number (using the Reconcile icon-see image example below) or re-index the item, *it will cause a duplicate export and a redundant copy in Epic*. Please refrain from doing so.

Once you have indexed the document you are working on properly, depending on the document type, the export process will start based upon the Saving or Reconciliation (associating the CSN) to the transaction. The Export Arrow will appear above the indexing area next to the red trash can icon.

It takes about 45 seconds to one minute for the export to complete and send to OnBase. It will then take approximately another 60 to 90 seconds to show in the Media Manager of Epic.
