Using the Export Arrow (aka Burgundy Export Arrow)

Tip! When the burgundy arrow appears on the screen, it means the document you are viewing has been sent to Cerner.  It will take about one minute for the document to show up in the patient’s chart.

You do not need to do anything else.

Do not try to re-index the document.

Do not click on the cog wheel (reconcile) icon.  This will cause the document to be duplicated in Cerner.

After indexing or reconciling the transaction, the Export Arrow will appear above the indexing area. 

It will take approximately 60 to 90 seconds to show in Media Manager in Cerner.

If you hover over the arrow, it will show you that this patient has an export. Click on the arrow and it will provide the status of the export.

If the export completed successfully, you will see "Completed" under the Status column. See screen shot below.
