Once you have downloaded the germplasm import template from DeltaBreed, add your germplasm. Add sequential entry numbers in the "entry no" column. Then, using those entry numbers that you just assigned, fill out the "female parent entry no" and "male parent entry no" columns to show pedigree connections.
In this example, Red2 and Blue2 are the parental germplasm to the rest of this list which is representing an animal breeding biparental cross with multiple individual offspring which should all be represented separately in the system with unique GIDs.
Notice that since this file has not yet been uploaded in DeltaBreed, there are no GIDs assigned. Using the entry numbers to assign pedigree connections is possible **upon initial import** into DeltaBreed without GIDs.
