Make sure the position status is set to "Ready to Advance Top Candidate" before moving forward.

Click on the final candidate's application.

Change the **applicant status** to "Dean: Recommended for Hire."

Enter the recipient's email. Please refer to the hiring workflows ([TTTs](https://vpaa2024.riceedu.acsitefactory.com/administrators/ttt), [TPs & RPs](https://vpaa2024.riceedu.acsitefactory.com/administrators/promotable-ntt), [NTTs](https://vpaa2024.riceedu.acsitefactory.com/administrators/ntt)) for the relevant offices and individuals.

In the **Message Subject**, include the name of the position and the position ID.

In the **Message Body**, include the title of the posting, the posting ID, and the name of the final candidate. You can preview the message before sending it.
