    Getting Started: Let's set up your Planning Pod Account

    Welcome to Planning Pod! We are excited you have chosen us to help you with your events! In this walkthrough, we will look at the beginning steps of getting your account up and running!\ \ We will look at: - Adding your logo & branding - Entering in your Venues & Spaces - Adding your team and clients as users - Reviewing User Access and Permissions - Learning about the Insurance Functionality

    Once you log in, you'll be taken to the Events tool! This is where you'll be able to add in your events, manage event details, and utilize the floorplan tool. Before we get there, let's move into our settings.

    To get to your settings, click on your name in the left hand corner. A dropdown menu will appear. Then you can choose Settings.

    This will take you to the account settings where you and review and make any changes as needed!

    Logo & Theme

    To add your logo, go to settings, and under Look & feel, select"Organization Logo".

    Click on "Select Image".

    Once you select your file, the logo will automatically download and you'll see the preview here! (Logos will show up on your downloaded pdfs and in the Client Portal).

    Tip! We recommend using a version of your logo that has a length:height ratio of 1:1 (square or circle) or 2:3 (thick rectangle) so that it displays properly in the Dashboard and in the header of PDF files. Wide-and-short logos or tall-and-skinny logos will appear smaller and may not be as legible.

    To customize your Account, go back to settings and click "Account Theme".

    This is where you can change your font style for titles and content and select your theme color!

    When choosing your theme color, you can select the arrow next to the color. this will open up a panel for you to pick your color. If you have a color code you want to use, you can type that in as well!\ \ Once you've decided on a color, click "Apply" and the page will refresh. Your navigation bar will update to the new color.

    When it comes to the navigation bar color, you can also choose to have a gradient style or a solid color.

    You can also choose the navigation bar font color as well so the text can pop!

    Updating Account Owner information

    Updating your Account information, like phone, email, address, can all be done through the Account Owner contact card! This information can show up on PDF headers and in other places within the account, so it's a great idea to review and update as needed.\ \ To get started, click on "Contacts" on the left side navigation bar.

    Then you'll want to find the Account Owner- the Account Owner will always have a star next to their name. Click on the name to enter into the contact card.

    This is where you can update the email, add a phone, website, address, and notes! Add as much as you'd like! You can also add a profile photo by click on the thumbnail image next to the name at the top!

    After adding your profile picture, you can center the photo, then click the green crop icon to save it.
