Notice that there are three tiles. These represent Craig's three bank/credit card accounts that are connected to his QBO account. The first one, Checking, is blue, because that's the one that is currently selected. The orange 25 indicates that there are 25 transactions in the Checking feed that are ready to review. You will also see this number in the For review tab.
    3
Scroll through the list to find the Hicks Hardware transaction. On the bank side, a check in the amount of $228.75 has cleared. On the QBO side, Craig previously entered Check number 75 for this exact amount. It's a match! Click "Match".

Notice that the numbers have adjusted. You now only have 24 transactions to review.
    4
Scroll through the list to find the Pam Seitz transaction. This time, there are two transactions in QBO that might be a match. Which one is correct? Click "View" to see more details.

When QBO initially looks for a match, it searches by amount, not what is in the bank detail (which says PAM SEITZ). There were two transactions for this amount, which is why is said 2 matches found. When you are looking at both options, you can clearly see that one transaction was for Pam Seitz, and the other was for Books by Bessie.
    5
The one for Pam Seitz is already selected, so click "Match"

And that's it! As a bookkeeper, one of your jobs is to go through each of the transactions from the bank and attempt to match them to already existing transactions in QBO. What happens if you don't find a match? That's covered in our basic level certification course.
