Sign in into the **Microsoft Azure Portal**

Type **Microsoft Defender for Cloud** in the search bar and click on the **Microsoft Defender for Cloud**  to view the Microsoft Defender for Cloud dashboard

**What is Microsoft Defender for Cloud?**\

Microsoft Defender for Cloud is a comprehensive cloud security solution that helps protect Azure, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments. It provides threat protection, security posture management, and compliance assessments to safeguard workloads, detect vulnerabilities, and mitigate threats.

On the **Microsoft Defender for Cloud** wizard, click on the **Overview** from the left bar

**Overview** wizard will open, here you can view resources which are using Microsoft Defender

Click on the **Getting started** from the left bar

Scroll to the page to the **Enable Defender** section, here you can view the option to enable Microsoft Defender for Subscriptions and tick the check box for the Name **Free Trial**

On the right side **Total resources** wizard will open, here you can view all the resources under the Free trial subscription and its charges
